The new 2015 Vauxhall Corsa revealed – debuts at Paris
The King of the supermini market in the UK is the Ford Fiesta, but the Vauxhall Corsa isn’t all that far behind and Vauxhall are doubtless hoping the arrival of the new Vauxhall Corsa in early 2015 will help steal customers away from Ford. Vauxhall hasn’t messed too much with the fourth generation Corsa, and although every body panel is new it’s still very much a Corsa. Yes, the nose is more ‘modern’ Vauxhall and there are changes everywhere when you start to look – like the ‘blade running down the lower doors – but nothing that will frighten off the existing 80,000 plus buyers the Corsa goes home with each year.

It’s only ten days since the McLaren 650S was revealed as a more hardcore version of McLaren 12C supercar – and with more than a hint of P1 styling – but McLaren are already building it and have revealed performance and price details. Available as either a 650S Coupe or 650S Spider, the starting point is £195,250 for the Coupe and £212,250 for the Spider, that’s almost £20k more for the 650S Coupe than the 12C Coupe and £17k more for the Spider. But apart from the more dramatic styling, increased downforce and tweaks from the extra power – the 650S gets 641bhp – to the improved handling and dynamics, you also get increased levels of optional equipment including carbon racing seats from the P1, rear parking camera and full carbon fibre interior.
India's Tata Motors, which bought Jaguar from Ford Motor Co. two years ago, recently approved a product plan that gives Jaguar three new models: a small sports car, an entry-level sedan and a station wagon. They will be the first new vehicles to be fully developed under Tata, but they are all several years away.
